Biographies David Babler email@example.com David A. Babler, an insurance and financial professional, took over his father’s insurance agency in September of 1971. He was a Peace Corps volunteer in Costa Rica, assistant to the Dean of the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps prior to coming to the agency. Dave obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Ripon College, Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Master of Science in Financial Services from the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA. Dave also holds the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) since 1974, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) since 1982, Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) since1995 and Certified Family Business Specialist since 1997. He is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, past president and current member of the Madison Estate Council and Madison Chapter of the Society of Financial Professionals, and past director and current member of the Madison Association of Life Underwriters. His current memberships also include the Southwestern Wisconsin Estate Planning Council and National Association of Estate Planners. Dave’s many contributions to the local community include chairing past fundraisers for the Monroe United Way, Monroe Arts & Activities Center, Downtown Library Fund, and Turner Hall Preservation Fund. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Monroe Clinic, the YMCA Foundation, and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Monroe. He specializes in the area of life insurance, disability income insurance, long-term care insurance, retirement planning and estate planning. Donovan obtained the Certified Long-Term Care (CLTC) designation which follows successful completion of a rigorous, multidisciplinary course that focuses on the profession of long-term care. Donovan is a qualifying and lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a qualifying member of the MassMutual Leaders Club. He is a current member and has served as a board member of the local National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Donovan graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1990 from The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where he received his degree in Economics.
